That’s why, when William and Donna Tapara recognised a need for high-quality, affordable, stylish living solutions for Maori, they spent a long time nurturing the idea to get it right. William grew up in a small, close knit whanau, and knew there was a need for flexible living solutions within the Maori community.
They teamed up with three other directors, each one adding a complementary skillset to allow them to bring their idea to life. They quickly outgrew their space, and moved into a new, custom facility to allow them to best grow Taonga Developments.
